The 2013 ride is behind us –  we look forward to the 2014 edition (dates to be determined). In the meantime, check out these photos of the Indiana Dunes experience and the wrap-up celebration in Chicago.

Bike enthusiasts will enjoy this two-day round trip adventure from Downtown Chicago to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and back. There will be a picnic, campfire, and delicious meals. It’s the works.

Riders will begin this 2-day ride on a Saturday and enjoy a leisurely ride down to the Indiana Dunes. Upon arriving at the Indiana Dunes State Park, riders will enjoy a BBQ lunch, and a catered pasta dinner, followed by a cozy bonfire. On Sunday, participants will cycle back to Chicago, ending with a post-ride celebration.

The 125-mile route is fully supported. Climate Cycle will provide SAG vehicles, rest stops along the way with food, water, snacks, and restrooms. Ride marshals will provide basic bike maintenance. We are offering riders the option of transporting their camping gear to the Dunes (so you don’t have to bike with gear).

You’ll have a BBQ once you arrive at the Dunes, dinner in the evening, and breakfast before you head back to Chicago. Camping site costs are included, but if you prefer to stay at a hotel on Saturday night, that’s fine too.

We are happy to transport you to and from the hotel, but you’ll have to pick up your nightly hotel bill.

Be prepared for any weather, especially if you’re camping!
