62-Mile Route: Enjoying Nature on Two Wheels
The 2013 ride is behind us – we look forward to the 2014 edition (dates to be determined). In the meantime, check out these photos of the Indiana Dunes experience and the wrap-up celebration in Chicago.
This beautiful course begins at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and traverses the scenic lakefront trail covering miles of dunes, savannas, swamps, marshes, prairies, rivers, and forests. It’ll be lovely!
You have the choice of arriving on Saturday evening of the weekend of the 2014 Dunes to Downtown Ride to enjoy a pasta dinner and campfire with the 125-Mile riders and camp under the stars. If you would rather sleep in a hotel, you are welcome do to so as well. See below for hotel details.
LOCATION: Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore
Ride registration begins at 6:30 am. The ride starts at 7:30 am at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

Registration fee: $30 for adults
Fundraising minimum for adults: $500
Fundraising minimum for high school and college students: $200

The 62-mile ride is fully supported. Climate Cycle will provide SAG vehicles, rest stops along the way with food, water, snacks, and restrooms. Ride marshals will provide basic bike maintenance.
We offer riders two transportation packages to the Dunes.
We are happy to transport you to and from the hotel, but you’ll have to pick up your nightly hotel bill.
