As we look forward to spending Thanksgiving with friends and family, we reflect on what we are thankful for this year.
One of the many things we are thankful for is being part of a movement greater than ourselves, part of a large and connected family working to give students the tools to understand, adapt to, and mitigate climate change.
When we take action individually to be the change, those actions add up and together we can create the change we wish to see in the world.
We are thankful for our Board Members Sean Moran and Matt Cardoni, who joined in the People’s Climate March this past September, and returned to us with insights, even more connections, and renewed energy.
We are thankful for supporters like Jamie Wright, freshman at the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana:
“I want to help people learn and discover the importance of our actions on this earth. We are the only species that can literally change the future of Earth. Since I’ve been blessed with this capability I am going to use it and fight whatever battle I have to fight to give the children of the future the same capability. The only way that’s going to happen is if I am an Earth Warrior.”
And of course we are thankful for supporters, volunteers, and donors like you, gathering together with us to do the work of Climate Cycle, inspiring us to inspire students to green our world.
Please consider supporting Climate Cycle financially this year. Thank you.
