We’re really excited to enter into a new partnership with Locke Elementary School, located on the Northwest Side, in the Montclare neighborhood. Last Friday, Executive Director Joey Feinstein spiced up the normal all-school assembly, by rapping about climate change and education, both inside the auditorium, and outside, to the amazement of some new fans.

Locke already boasts an impressive Green Team, started by a group of International Baccalaureate (IB) students and teacher Brad Parker. Mr. Parker, now IB Coordinator, said “Students and teachers alike are incredibly excited, not only for the potential of this partnership, but also the doors and eyes that will open as a result of our community realizing that they too can think globally and act locally.”
