Volunteer – Dunes to Downtown
Climate Cycle’s Dunes to Downtown bike ride is on Saturday, August 17th & Sunday, August 18th, 2013.

We are looking to fill the following roles:
Indiana Dunes State Park, Chesterton, IN –
Saturday, August 17 & Sunday, August 18
Ride Marshals – Bike along 125-mile course with riders, perform basic roadside bike repair, and ensure riders don’t get lost! Experienced cyclists only – ride marshals with first aid or medic certification especially wanted. Included: lunch, dinner, and an evening of camping at the IN Dunes on Saturday evening, and breakfast Sunday morning before heading back to Chicago. (2 day commitment)
Indiana Hospitality Crew - Help riders have fun with a BBQ picnic, pasta dinner, bonfire, and breakfast. We’ll provide the transportation from Chicago to the Dunes and back, and all meals and the campsite are on us. (2 day commitment)
Course Marshals – Direct riders through difficult areas along the route and cheer them on! (8/17, 8/18, or both)
Rest Stop Crew – Re-energize riders with food & drink and cheer them on along the route at one of these rest stops: 67th Street, Wolf Lake, Oak Ridge Park, or Hobart (8/17, 8/18, or both).
Body Work – Provide muscle relief and relaxation to riders at the IN Dunes campsite after their first day of riding (8/17)

Chicago General Celebration Set Up & Support Squad – Assist with set up, gear table, and general support for the post-ride celebration.
Chicago Hospitality Crew – Set up, clean up, and serve lunch to riders and volunteers.
Bike Valet – Assist riders in parking their bikes, keep bikes and gear safe and secure during the post-ride celebration.
Body Work – Provide muscle relief and relaxation to riders after their hard work.
Green Team – Help us keep the party green by monitoring our waste stations, so folks know where to put the recyclables, compostables, and trash.
